What is CoE-PGN?
CoE-PGN is Center of Excellence Pemenuhan Gizi Nasional, a centre for knowledge, learning, research, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration to advance national nutrition.
CoE-PGN connects policy, scientific evidence, field practice, and implementation capacity needs to make nutrition programmes more effective, adaptive, and sustainable.
Why CoE-PGN Was Established
National nutrition is a strategic priority for Indonesia, supporting a healthy, productive, and competitive population. CoE-PGN was established as a hub for knowledge and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the evidence base, capacity, and governance of national nutrition programmes.
CoE-PGN supports strategic national programmes by providing technical references, lessons from implementation, and an independent forum for policy discussion.
Establishing CoE-PGN
CoE-PGN was conceived as a collaborative initiative connecting government, academia, development partners, and implementation networks. Its purpose is to strengthen the ecosystem for knowledge and shared learning while complementing the roles of existing institutions.
